
Kristina is a seasoned public relations practitioner with a depth of experience representing agenda-setting food, lifestyle and hospitality brands. With more than 10 years devoted to developing strategic communications initiatives for established and emerging companies, her expertise encompasses media relations, brand communications and social media marketing. Kristina comes to Cinch PR from Joie de Vivre Hospitality, where as senior PR manager she executed public relations initiatives for its portfolio of boutique hotels, restaurants and spas.
Prior to Joie de Vivre, Kristina founded her own consultancy, Kitchen Communications, where she provided strategic communications counsel to brands such as Chipotle Mexican Grill, Cypress Grove Chevre, and Molson Coors Brewing Company. As a senior associate in the Atlanta office of Patrick Davis Partners, she helped develop brand positioning for Chipotle Mexican Grill, Panera Bread, Georgia Organics, and Anheuser-Busch. As account lead for Chipotle, she led national media relations for the brand’s “Food with Integrity” platform championing sustainable sourcing. Her public relations career began at Context Marketing in Sausalito, where she worked on an acclaimed national communications campaign to elevate California artisanal cheese making.
Kristina has garnered top-tier coverage for clients in The New York Times, USA Today, the Los Angeles Times, O: The Oprah Magazine, Country Living, Entrepreneur, the Associated Press, Fortune and Travel + Leisure. She has coordinated national media tours, press trips and a weeklong workshop for chefs at the Culinary Institute of America (St. Helena). A longtime blogger, she served as editor for Joie de Vivre’s blog and is adept at social media content development and engagement tactics.
She has a bachelor’s degree in English from Western Washington University and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Kristina lives in San Francisco and never tires of the Golden Gate Bridge’s magnificence, the used rock memoir section at Green Apple Books and walks to Ocean Beach. |
