
With extensive experience in tourism and hospitality public relations and marketing, Krislyn specializes in developing and executing results-driven public relations programs for Cinch PR’s travel industry clients.
Over the course of her career, Hashimoto has launched several resorts and restaurants, rebranded newly-renovated properties, served as an on-property PR consultant overseeing four hotels, assisted with destination marketing campaigns and initiatives, and has proven success with strategic targeted promotions. She has planned and coordinated national media tours, press trips and media events, and has secured coverage for clients in outlets including The New York Times, Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Hemispheres, Shape, the Travel Channel, Food Network, and more.
Prior to joining the Cinch PR team, Hashimoto worked at Stryker Weiner & Yokota Public Relations, Inc. in Hawaii, where she serviced a wide range of clients including the Hawaii Tourism Authority, Oahu Visitors Bureau, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Vacation Ownership, Hilton Grand Vacations, NCL America, Kiewit Pacific, Ward Centers, HRPT Properties Trust, and Lantern Floating Hawaii.
Hashimoto also worked in the communications department at the Office of the Governor, State of Hawaii. She is a former member of the board of the directors for the Hawaii Youth Symphony and earned a bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in speech from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She enjoys traveling, running, and dancing hula.
